1. Accounts
   You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your password secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us promptly at [email protected].
   • Do not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
   • Provide accurate information and keep your details up to date.
   • We may suspend accounts used in violation of these terms.
2. Courses & license
   LearnKnitting provides digital content (including videos, patterns, text, and other materials). When you purchase or access a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.
   • You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly post paid content.
   • You may not remove watermarks or attempt to bypass access controls.
   • We may update course content over time to improve quality.
3. Payments, taxes & billing
   Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. By purchasing, you authorize us (and/or our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including applicable taxes where required by law.
   • All fees are due at the time of purchase unless a different plan is disclosed at checkout.
   • You are responsible for any bank or card charges applied by your payment provider.
   • If a charge is reversed or disputed, we may suspend access until resolved.
4. Refunds
   Refunds may be available within 14 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course is completed. Completion is measured by platform progress indicators (e.g., lessons watched and/or marked complete).

   • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, subject to processor timelines.
   • We may deny refund requests that involve suspected fraud, abuse, or content sharing.
5. Acceptable use
   You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, without limitation, uploading illegal content, infringing intellectual property, attempting to disrupt the service, or engaging in harassment.
   • No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated access that harms performance.
   • No attempts to bypass authentication or access other users’ data.
   • No use of the platform to distribute malware or phishing links.
6. User content (if applicable)
   If the platform allows you to post reviews, comments, or other content, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to post what you share.
   • Do not post personal data of others without permission.
   • Do not post content that is hateful, abusive, or otherwise unlawful.
7. Disclaimers
   To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnKnitting provides courses and materials “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
   • We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
   • Learning outcomes may vary by individual skill and practice.
8. Limitation of liability
   To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will LearnKnitting, its affiliates, or its licensors be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
   To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to LearnKnitting for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
9. Termination
   We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and other users. Upon termination, your license to access paid content ends, and you must stop using any materials not permitted under the license.
10. Changes to these terms
    We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date on this page. Continued use of LearnKnitting after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
